Carlos Ortiz

Born in Mexico and now based in Texas, Ortiz has six professional wins and has spent more than 80 weeks of his career in the world’s top 100, with a highest ranking of 44th. He enjoyed two top-five finishes in the LIV Golf Invitational Series in 2022, at Portland and Bedminster. It was his birdie putt on the final hole in Portland that elevated Fireballs GC to its first podium finish. Ortiz has won once at the highest level since turning pro in 2013 and represented Mexico at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He joined Torque GC in December 2023.
